Hantech Medical Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Junior R&D Engineer to support product development, testing, validation and manufacturing process improvement in an on-site Italian setting.

The ideal candidate has around 1 year or more of experience in medical devices, R&D, engineering or another technical role, with training and technical development available for those with limited experience. Collaboration with China-based teams is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field as listed.
• Around 1 year or more of relevant experience preferred.
• 0–1 year candidates with internships/academic projects will be considered.
• Experience in medical devices, plastics, polymer materials, injection molding or tooling is preferred.

Mansioni

• Support R&D and new product development projects for single-use medical devices.
• Support product testing, validation and technical documentation.
• Assist with plastic injection molding and manufacturing process optimization.
• Support material evaluation and performance improvement.
• Work with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to solve technical issues.
• Collaborate with China-based R&D and technical teams on product development.
• Support new product industrialization and continuous improvement.

About Hantech Medical Italy

Hantech Medical Italy S.p.A. is a medical device manufacturing company based in Italy, specializing in single-use medical devices and components, with expertise in plastic injection molding, assembly and polymer materials.

Our products mainly serve applications such as IV administration, infusion therapy, drug delivery, puncture/access devices and other disposable medical consumables. We work closely with international customers and our R&D and technical teams in China.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior R&D Engineer to support product development, testing, validation and manufacturing process improvement.

The ideal candidate has around 1 year or more of experience in medical devices, R&D, engineering or another technical role, particularly in areas related to plastics, polymer materials, injection molding or manufacturing.

Candidates with 0–1 year of experience may also be considered if they have relevant internship, academic project or technical experience related to medical devices, plastics, materials, injection molding, tooling or manufacturing.

For candidates with limited professional experience, Hantech Medical Italy can provide training and technical development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support R&D and new product development projects for single-use medical devices.
• Support product testing, validation and technical documentation.
• Assist with plastic injection molding and manufacturing process optimization.
• Support material evaluation and performance improvement.
• Work with Production, Quality and Engineering teams to solve technical issues.
• Collaborate with China-based R&D and technical teams on product development and engineering projects.
• Support new product industrialization and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field, such as:
• Biomedical Engineering / Bioengineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Materials Science / Materials Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Plastics / Polymer Engineering
• Mold & Tooling / Manufacturing Engineering
• or a related STEM discipline
• Around 1 year or more of relevant experience is preferred.
• 0–1 year candidates with relevant internships, academic projects or technical experience will also be considered.
• Experience in medical devices, plastics, polymer materials, injection molding or tooling is preferred.
• Strong technical learning ability and willingness to develop within the medical device industry.

Language Requirements

Candidates should have Chinese plus one of the following:

• Chinese + Italian
• Chinese + English

Candidates with fluent English and native Italian are also welcome.

It is not necessary to speak all three languages.
