Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Production Controller for the Custom Stator Cell in Italy. You will ensure on-time delivery across the supply chain, from raw materials to final product, while collaborating with internal and external customers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong experience in production control, planning, and sourcing, with proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. English fluency and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with experience in production control, planning, supervision or sourcing.
• Ability to work effectively in a global-matrix environment with cross-functional teams.
• Strong independent work skills and drive process improvements.
• Analytical mindset with a mechanical approach to innovation.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency with MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a large manufacturing unit across Florence/Massa plants and manage supplier relationships.
• Participate in weekly production meetings to share information with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Track short-term and mid-term production plans against Master Schedule and planning cycles.
• Use ERP systems (Oracle) to identify material requirements, analyze supply, and optimize inventory.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, shortages, and capacity issues.
• Develop, implement and improve digital tools in collaboration with system engineers and developers.
• Monitor key deliverables such as OTD, VTC, inventory turns and WIP aging.
