Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Production Controller for the Custom Stator Cell to ensure on-time delivery across the supply chain, from raw materials to final customer handoff. You will oversee master schedule alignment, material planning, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve bottlenecks and optimize inventory.

This is a hands-on, on-site role in Italy with emphasis on continuous process improvement and effective leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field with strong experience in production control, planning, supervision or sourcing.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment.
• Ability to identify and drive process improvements.
• Mechanical mindset with analytical approach to innovation.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a large manufacturing unit among Florence/Massa plants and manage suppliers.
• Participate in weekly production meetings to share information with internal customers and stakeholders.
• Track short-, mid-, and long-term plans against the Master Schedule.
• Use Oracle ERP to identify material requirements, analyze supply and optimize inventory.
• Oversee cross-functional teams to resolve bottlenecks, shortages, maintenance and capacity issues.
• Develop and improve digital tools with system engineers and software developers.
• Monitor key deliverables such as OTD/VTC, SMI, inventory turns, and WIP aging.
