COMFORT SYSTEMS in Bosconero, Italy, is seeking a motivated Intern for their Production Department. This role involves supporting daily production activities and coordination with various departments to optimize processes.

Short Description

We are looking for a motivated Intern to join our Production Department.

The Intern will support the production team in day‑to‑day operational activities while gaining hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment. Working closely with shift leaders, this role offers the opportunity to be directly involved in production processes, support quality monitoring and control activities, and contribute to the analysis and resolution of production issues. Additionally, the Intern will collaborate with cross‑functional departments to help optimize production processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Support daily production activities by collecting basic production data, tracking schedules, and reporting deviations to Supervisors
• Assist cross‑functional coordination with departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, HR, EHS, and CI by sharing information, preparing simple reports, supporting meetings, and assisting in problem solving activities related to production issues.
• Support quality activities on the shop floor by helping collect quality data, documenting deviations, participating in basic problem‑solving discussions, and escalating quality issues to the appropriate responsible functions.
• Support performance monitoring by updating production KPIs, preparing basic reports, and helping ensure production performance data is accurate and visible.
• Develop personal technical and organizational skills by actively engaging in training, learning production processes, and gaining exposure to operational excellence practices.

Qualifications

Engineering background preferred (Production Management, Automotive, etc.) or during extramural studies

Skills

• Possibility to work shift mode Monday-Friday: you will be mentored by a shift leader (capoturno), minimum 6h/day
• Knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent Italian language.
• Knowledge of English language allowing for effective communication.
• Motivation to work and willingness to learn.
• Driving license (plant is located in Bosconero, TO)
