Job summary

Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Settimo Torinese invites an Engineering professional to join our manufacturing team.

You will support the area manager, contribute to continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and safety. The role requires an Engineering Master’s degree, 3–5 years in similar roles, and solid English. We offer a permanent contract under Gomma Plastica N.C.B.A with a base salary at least €55,000 plus a variable component and welfare

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree required.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience in similar roles.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and methods.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the area manager in actions needed to achieve targets.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of production processes and training of staff.
• Monitors department KPIs (volumes, waste) and proposes improvement actions for productivity and safety.
• Collaborates with Minifactory Manager, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance and Quality to implement improvement projects.
• Manages people: absenteeism, safety, meritocracy, evaluation.
• HSE: supervises safety rules and implements corrective actions.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

• Supports the area manager in the actions necessary to achieve the targets.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of the production process and to the training of people and their correct allocation within the production department and deployment.
• Monitors the department's KPIs (e.g.: volumes, waste, etc.); proposes improvement actions focused on the flexibility and productivity of the department and improvement actions aimed at optimizing production, in compliance with product safety and quality standards.
• Interacts with the other functions of the Plant (in particular Minifactory Manager, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance and Quality) in order to design and implement improvement projects at a technical and organizational level.Supports activities aimed at achieving PME (Continuous Improvement) targets.
• People management: absenteeism, safety, meritocracy, evaluation.
• HSE: Supervises and monitors the correct observance of safety rules (in charge) and implements corrective actions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Engineering Master’s degree.
• Between 3 and 5 years of experience in similar roles is required.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes and methods.
• Communication and Leadership.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

• The employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• The gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than € 55.000.
• The Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
• The position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer. Further details will be provided at a later stage and will be subject to the applicable Company policies.
