Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Italy seeks an Industrial Engineer to analyze workforce requirements, monitor productivity, and drive continuous improvement across production lines.

You will develop SOPs, optimize workload structures, and support cost-reduction initiatives within a highly digitalized manufacturing environment. The role requires a degree in engineering, at least three years in a complex plant, and strong skills in reporting tools, process analysis, and performance understanding.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least 3 years in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Deep knowledge of production processes.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools, process analysis and operative performance understanding.

Mansioni

  • Analyze workforce requirements, resource utilization, and capacity to ensure alignment with workload and production volumes.
  • Monitor productivity, process performance, and operational KPIs, identifying gaps between planned and actual results.
  • Conduct time studies and maintain standard operating times, ensuring alignment with real operational practices.
  • Develop and sustain operational standards, procedures, and work methods to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Identify and evaluate process improvement opportunities, supporting cost reduction initiatives and business case development.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, 5S, Workplace Organization) and support the implementation of operational excellence initiatives.
  • Provide cross‑functional analytical and technical support to Operations, Controlling, Project Teams, HSE, and HR, enabling data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Contribute to the definition, validation, and deployment of SOPs, organizational standards, safe work practices, ergonomic solutions, and optimized workload structures.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Previous experience in a complex manufacturing environment (at least 3 years).
  • Deep knowledge of production processes.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools, process analysis and operative performance understanding.
WHAT PUTS YOU IN POLE POSITION

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
  • The employment contract will be regulated by “Gomma Plastica” National Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • The gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than € 35.000.
  • The Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • The position’s compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer. Further details will be provided at a later stage and will be subject to the applicable Company policies.
