Camfil in Milano is seeking a Manufacturing Cost & Performance Analyst to support the management and continuous improvement of production processes, focusing on industrial cost analysis, operational data, and production performance. You will collaborate with Production, Technical Department, and Finance to drive efficiency and sustainability.

The role covers data management for BOMs and master data, monitoring variances, and delivering structured reports to management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The role supports the management and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, with a specific focus on industrial cost analysis, operational data, and production performance. The position contributes to the efficiency and sustainability of production activities, supporting decision‑making and process optimization in close collaboration with Production, the Technical Department, and Finance.

YOUR TASKS

• Industrial Costing & Production Performance Analyze and monitor industrial costs and production performance, managing standard costs and variance analysis.
• Production Technical Data Management Manage and update production technical data, including BOMs, production cycles, and master data, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
• Operational Efficiency & Continuous Improvement Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities in productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• ESG & Operational Sustainability Manage ESG reporting activities by collecting, analyzing, and consolidating relevant operational data.
• KPI Monitoring & Reporting - Process and ERP System Optimization Monitor product profitability, provide structured reporting to management, and contribute to process and system optimization, ensuring data quality and reliability.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or in Economics with a strong industrial focus.
• Technical and Analytical Skills Experience in industrial cost control, variance analysis, margin analysis, and the use of ERP/MRP systems, including BOMs, routings, and production data.
• Soft Skills and Role Approach Strong analytical mindset, data orientation, and problem‑solving skills, combined with a collaborative approach and effective communication across both technical and financial topics.
• Ability to work effectively with Production, Finance, and the Technical Department.

SECTOR & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

• 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing environments, with exposure to industrial controlling, production performance, or technical process management.
