Fedrigoni Group is seeking a Production Manager for Coating to drive safe, efficient, and high‑quality production within the department. You will align with production plans, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, and lead continuous improvement across processes, people, and performance indicators.

The role reports to the Plant Director and oversees the production workforce, coordinating activities, development, and collaboration with Planning, Maintenance, and Technical Management

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or economics will be considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in production or manufacturing environments, ideally in industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Solid understanding of production planning, maintenance coordination, and industrial processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of responsibility, proactivity, and results orientation.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational discipline.

Mansioni

  • Coordinate production activities in alignment with production plan, collaborating with Planning.
  • Work with Plant Director to identify and implement operational improvements and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Technical Management, Planning, and Maintenance to ensure product quality and drive process improvements.
  • Manage the production workforce with focus on motivation, engagement, and development.
  • Support approval process for production-related purchase requests as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance interventions to ensure full efficiency of assets.
  • Coordinate production teams, shift schedules, and cutting/programming activities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures across production activities.
  • Support training initiatives in collaboration with Quality Dept. and participate in risk assessments with HSE functions.

Purpose and main priorities of the role:

The Production Manager for Coating is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and high‑quality execution of production activities within the department. The role ensures alignment with production plans, guarantees compliance with quality and safety standards, and drives continuous improvement across processes, people, and performance indicators.

The position reports to the Plant Director and manages the production workforce within the assigned area.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • You will coordinate production activities in alignment with production plan, managing any deviations in collaboration with Planning.
  • You will work closely with the Plant Director to identify and implement operational improvements and corrective actions.
  • You will collaborate continuously with Technical Management, Planning, and Maintenance functions to ensure product quality and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • You will manage the human resources assigned to production, with a strong focus on motivation, engagement, and professional development.
  • You will support approval process for production‑related purchase requests in line with operational needs.
  • You will request and support supervision of maintenance interventions to ensure full efficiency of production assets.
  • You will coordinate production teams, shift schedules, and cutting/programming activities.
  • You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures across all production activities.
  • You will guarantee adherence to quality standards and support continuous training initiatives in collaboration with Quality Dept.
  • You will actively participate in risk assessment activities related to health and safety in cooperation with HSE functions, focusing on equipment, machinery, and operational areas under your responsibility.
Key Responsibilities (performance focus):
  • Ensure full compliance with efficiency, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (Safety, Efficiency, Quality)
  • Drive motivation, engagement, and professional growth of the production team
  • Contribute to the prevention and continuous improvement of health and safety conditions in the workplace.
Who we are looking for:
