Job summary

Societe Generale in Milan invites applications for a VIE Product Engineering Officer. The role supports design, development and deployment of products and services, collaborating with Commercial, IT, Risk and Operations teams throughout the lifecycle from analysis to onboarding.

The ideal candidate has a Master degree in Economics/Finance, fluent English and strong MS Office skills, with Italian proficiency.

Qualifications

Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics, Finance or a related field.
Language skills: Fluent in English (B2-C1); Italian: B2 (Upper Intermediate) - C1 (Advanced).
Strong command of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of financial markets and Securities Services activities.
Understanding of project management and business analysis concepts.
Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Supporting product and solution development projects.
Gathering and documenting business requirements.
Assisting in feasibility studies with Operations, IT, Risk and Compliance teams.
Contributing to the design of operational solutions and target operating models.
Preparing governance documentation and project follow-up.
Assisting onboarding documentation, KPIs and SLAs.
Maintaining product documentation and service descriptions.
Supporting implementation activities and client onboarding.
Participating in client requests, RFP responses and commercial initiatives.
