Job summary

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking, with a longstanding presence in Italy, seeks a qualified Credit Analyst to support the Head of Italy Portfolio. You will assess credit risk of Italian corporate clients through financial data, draft credit applications and maintain internal ratings, while contributing to the ESG trajectory of the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Assess the credit risk of Italian corporate clients through qualitative and quantitative analysis of financial data to draft credit applications and update internal ratings.
• Provide independent written credit analyses to support credit processes and origination teams.
• Line-by-line management of the corporate portfolio for cash financings and other bank products, including annual reviews and covenant management.
• Assist in Portfolio Opinions on ESG trajectory with focus on greenification and Basel 4 metrics.
• Credit monitoring with risk anticipation and portfolio optimization, including secondary sales and credit recycling.
• Periodic reporting on the Global Italian Portfolio with centralized insights by Business Lines.

• Providing an independent and written credit analysis to support credit process and origination teams;
• Line by line management of the entire corporate portfolio, both for cash financings and other bank products by carrying annual reviews, covenant management, waivers or amendments, watchlists (in due time);
• Assisting in Portfolio Opinions on new proposed cash financings into ESG trajectory, with a strong focus on the portfolio greenification strategy of the bank, scarce resources management into Basel 4 and portfolio metrics assessment;
• Credit monitoring with a risk anticipation/optimization approach through proactive portfolio management (distribution via secondary sales and other alternative solutions of credit recycling);
• Periodic reporting on the Global Italian Portfolio with a centralized insight into all the assets split by Business Lines, with a complete analysis of key indicators on a current and forward-looking basis;
