METLEN is seeking a Procurement Specialist for our Milan-based EPC operations to drive procurement and logistics across project lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers, transport providers, warehouses and internal teams to ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing and delivery of materials to construction sites.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of procurement, logistics or supply chain experience in industrial or energy environments.
• Understanding of procurement processes, INCOTERMS and vendor management.
• Experience preparing purchase orders and managing supplier documentation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ERP systems proficiency; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Support procurement for EPC materials and equipment (modules, inverters, structures, MV/HV components).
• Manage RFQs, collect supplier quotations, and contribute to supplier evaluation and negotiations.
• Prepare and administer purchase orders and related procurement docs in SAP.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and quality; escalate issues when needed.
• Support procurement documentation for tenders participation.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics for timely, damage-free delivery to sites.
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouses on inventory, goods booking and storage optimization.
• Maintain procurement records per internal EPC traceability and audit standards.
• Work with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quality and Finance to align delivery and manage risks.
