Job summary

DiaSorin S.p.A. is seeking a Process Excellence Specialist in Italy to drive continuous improvement and digital transformation across diverse processes. You will identify opportunities, develop business cases, and track benefits with cross-functional teams.

You will design KPI governance, deploy dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and partner with IT on data initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and customer experience. Proficiency in Italian and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical) or other Technical/Scientific disciplines.
• 3+ years in Operational/Process Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Industrial Engineering or similar roles in structured environments; experience in regulated industries (e.g., IVD/medical devices/pharma) is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing diverse inputs to achieve specific targets
• Strong background in reviewing and analyzing performance plans and schedules
• Solid understanding of databases, including their functioning and effective management

Responsibilities

• Apply Lean / Operational Excellence tools (e.g., PDCA, A3, PPS, VSM, SMED, 5Why, Pareto, Standard Work) to eliminate waste and stabilize processes.
• Lead and/or facilitate Kaizen events and cross-functional workshops; ensure proper preparation, execution, documentation, and follow-up.
• Map current processes, collect and analyze data, identify root causes, and define countermeasures; standardize improvements and update SOPs/work instructions in collaboration with process owners.
• Design, deploy and maintain KPI governance and management (definitions, data sources, calculation rules, cadence, targets, visualization, and escalation routines).
• Manage Governance as the set of business rules that are defined and shared across the organization, enabling it to operate efficiently, responsibly, transparently and sustainably, with the aim of long term success and value creation.
• Develop performance dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI/Excel) and support structured daily/weekly performance reviews with Operations leaders.
• Lead, support, and coach teams on Structured Problem Solving and problem-solving routines.
• Manage improvement projects and activities end-to-end (charter, planning, risks, stakeholders, milestones, deliverables) and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage benefits and ensure sustainability through controls, ownership assignment, and periodic verification.
• Collaborate with Engineering/IT on digital initiatives (e.g., data acquisition, workflow automation) that support process performance, compliance, and traceability.
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve the site KPI system and management, enabling data-driven decisions through dashboards and standard reporting.
• Support the creation, improvement, deployment, and governance of the DiaSorin Industrial System.
