La Marzocco seeks a skilled Process Engineer at its Scarperia e San Piero (FI) headquarters. You will lead lean improvement initiatives, optimize production processes, and validate industrial KPIs to boost efficiency and quality.

Competenze

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Management, or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in metalworking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM).
  • Proven experience in time and motion studies within manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in line balancing, determining production capacity, and defining labor requirements.
  • Experience managing industrialization and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ability to analyze data and use statistical tools for process control.

La Marzocco Srl, a leading manufacturer of high-end equipment for the specialty coffee industry, is looking for a Process Engineerto join its team at theScarperia e San Piero (FI)headquarters.

Position

In this role, you will participate in the following activities:

  • Identify and implement solutions to reduce waste, operating costs, and lead times;
  • Analyze, design, and optimize production processes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity;
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing methodologies;
  • Lead projects for the industrialization of new products and the introduction of new production technologies;
  • Analyze and optimize work methods through Time & Methods Engineering activities, defining standard times, balancing production lines, and optimizing workstation utilization;
  • Conduct time studies to define standard cycle times and production capacity;
  • Analyze the efficiency of production lines using indicators such as OEE, productivity, utilization, and resource usage, identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • Design and optimize layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flows to reduce waste and improve safety and operational efficiency;
  • Collaborate with Production to balance assembly lines and determine the appropriate level of resources;
  • Support the analysis of process nonconformities and the definition of related corrective actions;
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to monitor and improve process performance;
  • Coordinate process validation activities and the monitoring of industrial KPIs;
  • Provide technical support and training to production departments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Management, or Industrial Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in process engineering roles within well-structured manufacturing companies;
  • Experience in the metalworking industry;
  • Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, TPM);
  • Proven experience in time and motion studies within manufacturing environments;
  • Experience in line balancing, determining production capacity, and defining labor requirements;
  • Experience managing industrialization and continuous improvement projects;
  • Ability to analyze data and use statistical tools for process control;
  • Strong focus on results and continuous improvement;
  • Technical leadership and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
  • An analytical and structured approach to problem-solving;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

The gross annual salary (RAL) for this position starts at 40.000,00€, and the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) is the Piccola media industria Metalmeccanica —CONFAPI. The final offer and pay grade may vary based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, such as the candidate’s skills, seniority, background, and qualifications for the job;
