Schneider Electric is seeking a Service Engineer to join our Process Automation team. You will be part of a team providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Process Automation systems at critical customer sites, covering DCS and Safety solutions.

This role includes brownfield projects with a wide technology spectrum. You will install, commission, test, and maintain systems; develop HMI logics for brownfield projects; provide customer training; and travel up to 75% to

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Automation/CS/Electrical or equivalent experience.
3–4 years of field experience.
Knowledge of DCSs, PLCs, SCADA; familiarity with Foxboro/Triconex/Modicon is a plus.
Windows OS administration.
Knowledge of Ethernet networks and cybersecurity basics.
Italian language preferred; English fluency required for non-Italian speakers.
Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Mansioni

Perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process automation systems (controllers, HMI, network, workstations).
Conduct system testing and participate in system integration activities.
As a team member, develop logics HMI screens for brownfield projects and system setup in staging areas.
Provide technical support to customers, including diagnosing and resolving system issues.
As on-duty, be available weekly for department scheduling.
Deliver training to customers on operation and maintenance of automation systems.
