Proactive MICE & Groups Sales Executive

Mangia's is seeking an experienced MICE/Groups Sales professional to generate new business, manage end-to-end sales cycles, and build relationships with agencies and corporate accounts in Italy and beyond.

You will attend trade shows, develop a robust sales pipeline from RFP to contract, and collaborate with teams on space allocation for groups and MICE events. Fluent Italian and English are required; travel is expected.

Competenze

• Degree in Economics, Management, other STEM, or Event Management.
• At least 3–5 years of MICE/Groups sales experience in hospitality with a proven new-business development track record.
• Strong proactive prospecting/hunting skills.
• Knowledge of the Italian and international MICE market.
• Fluent in Italian and English; a second language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Mansioni

• Identify and acquire new clients in the MICE and Groups segments through proactive prospecting (cold calling, networking, site inspections).
• Develop and manage the MICE/Groups sales pipeline, from RFP to contract signature.
• Attend trade shows, workshops, and industry events dedicated to the MICE segment (e.g., IMEX, IBTM, corporate trade fairs).
• Build lasting relationships with MICE agencies, PCOs, and corporate accounts.
• Track production targets and the conversion of enquiries into confirmed contracts.
• Work with the relevant team on the optimal allocation of space and rooms for the groups/MICE segment.
