Job summary

AGCO in Breganze, Italy, seeks a Project Engineer Platform (PEP) to lead engineering coordination for a combine headers and trailers platform, interfacing between Engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within quality and cost targets.

You will own product specifications, EBOMs, CAD data, and engineering changes, participate in platform architecture, and support NPI and CPM initiatives with a focus on standardization and data governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in product development, platform engineering, vehicle engineering, or project engineering.
Experience coordinating cross-functional engineering activities in a complex product development environment.
Fluent in English (oral/written), preferably able to speak Italian as well, you have experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
Proficiency in product development processes, O365 toolset, PLM systems (ideally Windchill), CAD skills (CreoParametrics), engineering product architecture and systems integration.
Preferred Qualifications Experience within agricultural, automotive, off-highway, or industrial equipment industries. Knowledge of platform-based product development methodologies. Experience working in global and matrix organizations. Project management certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Technical Project Coordination: you represent the Engineering function within the project core team and act as the primary technical focal point for the assigned platform.
Product Technical Data Ownership: you own and manage platform engineering technical data, specifications, and technical documentation.
Engineering Integration & Vehicle Design Coordination: you coordinate vehicle and system design activities across engineering teams.
Platform Architecture & Program Execution: you ensure the availability and integrity of global platform architecture documentation and support NPI/CPM.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: you partner with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Cost Engineering, Quality, and Product Management teams.
Governance & Gate Reviews: lead preparation and presentation of engineering status, risks, and deliverables at project reviews.
Technical Design: room for product design activities within AGCO standards and processes.
