Job summary

Barilla Group in Parma, Italy, offers a 6-month Plant Controlling Internship starting November 2026. You will work closely with Supply Chain to monitor deviations, support monthly closing, and develop analytics and dashboards.

Ideal candidates are Master’s students or recent graduates in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science or Mathematics, fluent in English and Italian, with interest in AI and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Master’s student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics.
• Fluent English and Italian.
• Strong interest in Controlling, Data Analytics and AI.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools; Excel/Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support in Monthly Closing and Reporting, autonomously handling areas of analysis.
• Assist Plant Controlling in applying AI and analytics to processes and questions.
• Develop analyses to identify patterns, trends and key drivers across plant ops.
• Support dashboards, models and automated reporting to improve management information.
• Collaborate with Controlling, Finance, Operations and other stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Experiment with Generative AI to enhance data interpretation and insights.
