The Junior Reporting specialist will be part of Prysmian’s Planning & Reporting team at the Milan HQ. You will ensure accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, KPIs and cash flow across forecasting and budgeting scenarios, and analyze variances against planning data.

You will also manage data uploads in Hyperion, support monthly HQ reporting, and act as the reference point for country/regional CFOs. Strong Excel skills and a background in economics help you excel in this role.

Competenze

• English: Excellent written and oral capabilities.
• Economics degree or master's degree required.
• Experience in Controlling/Accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HFM and SAP preferred.
• Strong organizational, management and communication skills; team-oriented.

Team Overview and Job responsibilities

The Junior Reporting specialist will be part of the Planning & Reporting team located in Prysmian’s Headquarter in Milan, Italy. The goal of this team is ensuring correctness and completeness of Company Reporting for P&L, BS, KPIs and Cash Flow for all forecasting (short and long term) and budgeting scenarios. Furthermore, we analyze forecast KPIs and economics to compare them with Budget and Planning data.

Junior Reporting specialist will also be responsible of the relationship between Headquarter and Country/Regional Head of Reporting or Country/Regional CFOs with the aim to become for them a reference figure.

Responsibilities

The Junior Reporting specialist will be responsible of ensuring the data quality for Flash, Forecast, Management Plan of a set of Regions, respect of deadlines and data analysis of deltas, being also their reference for technical issues and HQ guidelines.

He/She Will be in charge of reporting activities related to specific KPIs (for example Inventory trend, quarterly OWC analysis). He/She Will also have responsibilities related to Holdings, namely Capex approval process, Prysmian Treasury controlling and reporting,

Who are we looking for?

The candidate will be a direct report of our Group Planning & Reporting Director in Prysmian Headquarter and will be responsible for the following activities:

• Ensure the correctness and completeness of Company Reporting for P&L, BS, KPIs and Cash Flow and analyze financial information and economics to compare Actuals with Budget and Planning data;

• Ensures timely and accurate upload of economic information in the company reporting systems (Hyperion), develop a control system on data uploaded by the affiliates in order to measure deviations and address correctly the main reasons; data analyzed may include revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, main components of operating working capital and their drivers, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates (add country reporting integrity and make quick analysis)

• Ensures accurate and timely execution of budgeting and forecasting processes in line with operational targets;

• Provide monthly reporting to other HQ functions (HR, Supply Chain, R&D, Strategy, …);

• Provide management with operational reports, upon request they develop custom reports from the hyperion system and other systems in use;

• High organisational, management and communicational skills.
