Saipem cerca un Piping and Layout Lead da inserire nel team ENCAR a Milano. Il candidato coordinerà attività di piping, plot plan e gestione di criticità di progetto, garantendo costi e tempi concordati. Esperienza significativa in layout, routing e gestione fornitori è richiesta.

La posizione prevede un modello di lavoro ibrido con sede a Milano Santa Giulia, e opportunità di crescita in progetti internazionali nel settore energia e infrastrutture.

Competenze

• Laurea magistrale o laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica o equivalente.
• Esperienza complessiva di 10 anni, di cui 5 anni in ruolo di Lead.
• Conoscenze linguistiche: Italiano e Inglese livello B2.

Mansioni

• Sviluppo del plant plot plan.
• Routing di piping critico basato su diagrammi di processo e plot plan.
• Quantità di materiale piping take-offs basate su diagrammi.
• Interpretazione delle specifiche tecniche e identificazione di criticità.
• Competenza nel design di moduli e impatti sul trasporto moduli.
• Analisi di clausole contrattuali e requisiti del cliente.
• Pianificazione attività, revisione del cronoprogramma e assegnazione compiti.
• Gestione discussioni tecniche con stakeholder interni ed esterni.
• Analisi di roadmap di progetto e definizione della strategia di esecuzione.
• Monitoraggio di budget ore/uomini e cambi di scope.
• Gestione della supply chain per piping materials.

Purpose of the position:

As Piping and Layout Lead you will be part of the ENCAR.

How can you support us?

• Development of the plant plot plan;
• Routing of critical piping based on process diagrams and plot plans, considering accessibility, maintainability, safety, thermal gradients, and material costs;
• Piping material quantity take-offs based on process diagrams and plot plans;
• Interpretation of technical specifications and identification of critical aspects
• Expertise in module design and the impacts associated with module transportation
• Analysis and interpretation of contractual clauses and critical assessment of client requirements
• Activity planning, review of the project schedule, delegation of tasks to team members, and continuous progress monitoring
• Management of technical discussions with internal stakeholders (Project Management, Construction, Procurement) and external stakeholders (client, JV partners, authorities)
• Critical analysis of project roadmaps and active participation in defining the project execution strategy
• Continuous monitoring of the quantity and man-hour budgets
• Timely management and issuance of change orders and variations from the baseline scope.
• Management of the procurement chain for piping materials

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Piping Engineering activities are carried out within the costs and schedule established by the contract and in accordance with the strategies defined by project management, coordinating a team sized to suit the scale and type of facility. The team includes various roles, such as Piping Material Engineers, Piping Flexibility Engineers, Piping Designers, and Piping Engineers from different backgrounds and nationalities. Technologies currently under design include gas treatment, upstream facilities, LNG, hydrogen, ammonia, geothermal, biorefineries, and polyethylene plants and FPSO.

• Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Background: 10 years and 5 years in the role of Lead
• Languages: Italian, English B2

Willingness to travel and/or undertake assignments in Italy or abroad, including for medium- to long-term periods, at engineering centres or construction sites.
