Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

As Pipeline Welding Operator you will be part of the Offshore E&C/Asset Based Service Business Line. You will weld pipelines with approved procedures and safety requirements, onshore at

Competenze

Education: Welder trained in Welding school with several welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW as minimum), on carbon steel and stainless-steel materials, several welding positions (2G, 5G, 6G).
Background: First experience profile is acceptable demonstrating a good level of welding in manual welding processes (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW) with Welder qualifications certificates.
Languages: English speaking, reading, writing.

Mansioni

Proven experience as welder with welding skills with GTAW, SMAW, and FCAW welding processes.
Ability to weld in required positions, including 5G, 2G and 6G where applicable.
Ability to perform weld repairs with manual welding processes.
