Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) seeks a Sealine Engineer to join the Asset Based Services in Italy. Your role focuses on subsea system design and structural analysis of pipelines, including wall thickness sizing, on-bottom stability, and related technical deliverables.
You will perform procurement support, prepare material take-offs, RFQs, and vendor follow-ups during project execution, while advancing your design and installation analysis capabilities with FE software.

SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.
As Sealine Engineer you will be part of the Asset Based Services.
Subsea System Design Engineering with specific reference to structural analysis of subsea pipeline (pipeline wall thickness sizing, on-bottom stability, in place static and dynamic analysis, preparation of technical deliverables such as technical report and or drawings, etc…)
Technical activities associated with Sealine System Procurement with specific reference to the preparation of material take-offs, request for quotations, technical bid evaluations, and vendor follow-ups during project execution.
Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with a strong focus/preference on structural engineering.
3-5 years in similar roles
English (B2)
Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office package
Proficiency in Finite Element (FE) software such as Abaqus, Ansys, or equivalent.
