Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is seeking a 2nd Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor to join the offshore team in Italy. You will report to the 1st Shift Supervisor and support daily coordination of offshore construction activities, including supervising vessel operations, crews, and equipment, while ensuring HSE and project standards.

Travel may be required for projects abroad; a Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is expected, with 3–5 years in construction

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience as Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor or equivalent.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC)

is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

Purpose of the position

As 2nd Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor, you will report to the 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor or, when required, directly to the Offshore Construction Manager, and be part of the OFFSHORE Operations /VECOP team.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities

• Assist the Offshore Construction Supervisor and Offshore Construction Manager in the daily coordination of offshore construction activities.
• Support the management of vessel operations, personnel, subcontractors, and equipment on board. Monitor offshore activities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements, procedures, and project specifications.
• Participate in planning meetings, toolbox talks, and operational briefings. Contribute to progress reporting and operational documentation.
• Assist in identifying operational risks and implementing mitigation measures.
• Promote Saipem's safety culture and operational excellence standards.

What are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent technical disciplines

Experience: 3-5 years of experience as Construction Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor or equivalent role within the Industrial Construction

Languages: Intermediate to advanced proficiency (written and spoken).

Technical/IT Skills

• Knowledge of construction and installation activities in industrial environments
• Ability to supervise multidisciplinary workforces and subcontractors
• Knowledge of construction methods, work execution planning and site coordination
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and construction procedures
• Understanding of HSE standards and Permit-to-Work systems

What else should you know? You will have the opportunity to travel abroad based on the projects you will work for and within the Saipem Offshore construction fleet.

What Can We Offer To You

• Permanent Contract– CCNL Energia e Petrolio
• For overseas contract (offshore): Basic Pay not lower than 43.000 € plus overseas allowances
• Location: Offshore
