Job summary

Alira Health is seeking a Patient Engagement & Advocacy Engagement Manager to lead cross-functional project teams and drive client engagements across multiple life sciences initiatives. You will center patient voices in strategies and solutions, guiding teams with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, private equity, life sciences companies or health technology assessment (HTA) agencies.
• Hands-on experience designing and running patient engagement initiatives (e.g., advisory boards, patient interviews, patient journey mapping).

Responsibilities

• Independently lead execution teams and deliver projects with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Guide teams in prioritizing client issues and turning them into actionable solutions.
• Support and lead the team in all client interactions.
• Ensure the quality, timeliness and accuracy of complex deliverables.
• Design and lead patient engagement activities across the product lifecycle (e.g., advisory boards, interviews, journey mapping).
• Translate patient insights into actionable recommendations for trial design, endpoints and HTA submissions.
• Ensure engagement activities follow ethical, legal and compliance standards (GDPR, consent, data privacy).
• Provide oversight and direction to staff in line with the organization’s policies and values.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and client relationship nurturing.
• Attend conferences and contribute to thought leadership and service line development.
• Mentor and share expertise to grow the firm’s collective knowledge.
