Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for a talented Overnight Cook to join our Team.

About the role

TheOvernight Cookprepares and serves food items for guests andemployeeduring the overnight shiftin accordance withproduction requirements and quality standards whilemaintaininga safe, sanitary work environment.

What you will do

Prepare and serve food of consistent quality following recipe cards as well as production,portion, and presentation standards per order from servers; often working alone or without direct supervision.

Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure notpreparebeyond estimated needs.

Operate,maintainandproperly cleankitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, andflat topgrill.

Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages; return all food items not used to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date allperishables; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.

Assistwithprep-workfor next shift and with cleaning operations of the kitchen and storage areas.

Assistwith food preparation in other kitchen areas whenneeded

What you bring

Cooking school or culinary institute education or equivalentexperience.

A minimum oftwoyearsculinaryexperience.

Ability tooperate,maintainandproperly cleandeep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.Proficient knife skills and ability to multi-task.

Reading,writingand oralproficiencyin the Italian language. English is a plus.

Schedule & Hours:

Full time position, overnight shifts. Successful candidates must hold legal authorization to work in Italy at the time of application.

The position is at the C3 Level of the Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), with a starting gross annual salary aligned with the contract's minimum standards and opportunities for growth based on experience
