Porsche Consulting Italy is seeking an Operational Excellence Consultant to lead interdisciplinary, international teams and work with C-level executives to design scalable, sustainable improvements across manufacturing, supply chain and logistics. The role combines strategy and execution, traveling up to 80% to client sites in Italy and abroad, and requires hands-on delivery and strong communication.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or related field; MBA/PhD asset.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in industrial operations or consulting in Consumer Goods.
• Strong understanding of Consumer Goods value chains and operating models.
• Experience shaping operations strategy and redesigning industrial networks.
• Fluency in Italian and English; German is a plus.

You will play a key role leading interdisciplinary and international teams, working closely with C-level decision-makers to design tailored, scalable, and sustainable solutions. You will manage project workstreams, engage senior stakeholders, and present recommendations to executive leadership.

This role requires full availability to travel (80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU)).

Your profile

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Industrial Engineering) or an equivalent qualification. A relevant PhD or MBA is considered a strong asset.


• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in industrial operations, supply chain management, manufacturing excellence, or process optimization within international organizations or consulting firms operating across Consumer Goods.


• Solid understanding of the broader Consumer Goods sector, including its value chains, operating models, regulatory environment, and key dynamics.


• Demonstrated involvement in shaping operations strategy, optimizing footprint design, and redesigning industrial networks


• Knowledge of enabling technologies, including the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Big Data & Analytics, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Digital Twin technologies


• Direct experience managing teams and resources


• Excellent presentation and communication skills


• Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset


• Enthusiasm for driving change


• Excellent command of Microsoft and AI-powered tools


• Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).


• Fluency in both Italian and English. Knowledge of German is a plus


• Willingness to travel and embrace new challenges

In accordance with applicable Italian pay transparency requirements, the annual gross base salary for this role in Italy starts at € 44,000. The final fixed salary will be determined based on objective, role‑related criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, demonstrated skills, and overall fit for the role.
