VHR Global Technical Recruitment seeks an Onsite Recruiter based in Rome to source highly skilled technical candidates for client vacancies across Europe. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and support new hires through relocation, visa status, and regulatory compliance.

The VHR group is a multi award winning technical recruitment business, headquartered in London, supplying contract and permanent technical and professional staff to our clients within the Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Civils & Infrastructure, and Marine sectors.

VHR currently employs over 70 members of staff throughout our offices in the UK, across Europe, the Middle East and North America. VHR generates a turnover of close to £50M annually.

The Role:

VHR’s Onsite Recruiter acts as an extension of our Client’s Recruitment and administration function. Based in Rome, you will be responsible for identifying and connecting with highly skilled technical candidates on a global scale for our client’s open job vacancies across Europe. After our client’s interview and selection process, you will be responsible for the timely and smooth onboarding of all VHR candidates from their domicile location to our Client’s work locations.

As VHR’s Onsite Recruiter, you will ensure candidates are settled in and happy with their new job role, their living arrangements, visa status and regulatory compliance, and will be available to provide support as required to new hires.

Supporting VHR, VHR’s Client and all VHR candidates in respect of:

• Search and selection of highly skilled technical candidates
• Candidate interviewing and selection in partnership with our client, candidate pipeling, candidate referencing and all associated administration tasks
• Onboarding of new hires into our Client’s work locations across Europe
• Assist with candidates’ travel arrangements as and when required.
• Assist with candidates’ visas, residents permit, ID processing and renewals
• Manage VHR’s relationship with the Client’s key stakeholders
• Ensuring rapid distribution of our Client’s new job vacancies to VHR’s offices as and when received.
• Local presence and support to our Clients and candidates to provide assistance and solve problems
• Provide a friendly face on the ground who can support candidates with work related and any personal issues.
• Provide general support assistance to our Client as and when required

Key Responsibilities:

• Search and selection of highly skilled technical candidates
• Recruitment process control and facilitation
• Onboarding of new hires
• Administration support required for new hires across Europe

Candidates Requirements:

• Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
• Self-managed: can prioritise own tasks and plan ahead
• Communication and ability to interact comfortably with stakeholders
• Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
• Confident and not afraid to ask questions
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• You must be available to work in Rome, Italy
• Written and spoken fluency in English and Italian
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT, organisational & administration skills
• Experience of working with Microsoft packages
• Strong numeracy skills & attention to detail
• Hard working & reliable
• The ideal candidate will have some Aviation knowledge, but this is preferable not essential.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Gross annual salary of €29,000 to €34,000, payable in 14 monthly instalments, plus a separate performance related bonus scheme, giving On Target Earnings of €39,000 to €44,000 per annum.
