A&O IT Group is seeking a freelance IT support contractor to assist staff with desktop, application, and related technology issues on-site in Italy. You will diagnose, resolve, and document end-user problems across desktops, printers, PDAs, and LAN drops, and provide 1st line support within established service targets.

The role includes infrastructure administration, on-site coverage from 8:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday, with potential outside-hours support.

Competenze

1–3 years of experience in desktop support and IT help desk.
Experience with Windows desktop OS and Office applications.
Experience managing MS Active Directory users and groups.
Strong English communication; Italian helpful.
Contractor role through end of 2029; onsite at client sites.

Mansioni

Accurately testing, repairing, and documenting end user issues (desktops, printers, PDAs, BlackBerrys, LAN drops).
Provide 1st line IT support to staff within agreed service targets.
Provide infrastructure administration functions.
On-site cover 8:00–19:00, Mon–Fri as part of shift.
Work out of hours and provide on-call support as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues; reimage computers/hard drives; backup settings.
