Saipem is seeking a Vessel Field Engineer for the Offshore Construction unit in Italy. You will provide engineering support to project managers, work closely with the offshore team, and ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance while contributing to installation and maintenance activities on offshore vessels.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Naval, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with 0–2 years of experience and English at B2 level.

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Naval, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
• 0-2 years background
• Languages: English (B2)
• Technical Knowledge and Soft Skills: Microsoft Office Suite; resilience; stress management; ability to work in a multicultural environment

Mansioni

• Provide engineering services to the Project Manager or Offshore Construction Manager to support project objectives
• Work in close contact with the Offshore Construction Manager, Offshore Construction Assistant, vessel captain, and chief engineer
• Provide engineering support onboard the vessel and ensure QA/QC and HSE adherence
• Ensure application of engineering procedures during construction activities
• Monitor construction/installation progress and track actual vs planned activities
• Manage the Daily Progress Report
• Verify subcontractor performance and assess their effectiveness
• Collaborate with project personnel and onboard managers for work preparation and operations
• Supervise onshore yard activities related to offshore structures
• Coordinate with Client's technical representative on engineering matters
• Draft installation and maintenance documentation if requested
