Saipem in Milan is seeking an Offshore Structural Designer for the MILAN OFFSHORE 3D MODELLING department, part of the ABSER Business Line.

You will model with Tekla (or equivalent 3D CAD), create drawing packs for primary, secondary and tertiary structures, and extract BOMs and weights from the 3D model, while developing company standards.

The role offers foreign travel opportunities and a hybrid working model, with apprenticeship or fixed-term contracts and a salary not lower than €34,000.

Competenze

• Education: Technical high school diploma.
• Experience: Preferably 0–2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Languages: minimum required level B1.
• Technical Skills: 3D CAD modelling, 2D CAD drafting.

Mansioni

• Modelling with Tekla (or equivalent 3D CAD tool).
• Design drawings for primary, secondary and tertiary structures.
• Bill of materials or materials take off.
• Extraction of bill of materials and other weight information from the 3D CAD model.
• Developing Company standards on the basis lesson learned and fabrication yard recommendation.
• Supervise the update of the documents after comments issued by other disciplines (inter‑discipline checks) or external stakeholders (Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.).
• Feed the Offshore Structural Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project.
