agap2 Italia is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer for an Oil & Gas project based in Milan. The successful candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering, fabrication and offshore installation, ideally on complex subsea and brownfield projects.

You will oversee pipeline fabrication, welding, inspection and testing, ensure compliance with codes, and collaborate with EPC/EPCI teams to deliver safe, efficient offshore installations.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil or related).
• 10+ years of experience in pipeline engineering in Oil & Gas.
• Experience with subsea/offshore pipeline projects and installation activities.
• Knowledge of pipeline fabrication, welding, inspection and testing.
• Familiarity with international codes and standards.
• Experience with EPC/EPCI contractors and international project teams.
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus.

Mansioni

• Provide technical expertise throughout pipeline engineering, fabrication and installation phases.
• Review and monitor pipeline manufacturing activities for compliance with specs and quality requirements.
• Oversee CRA and clad pipeline manufacturing, including Mechanically Lined Pipes and weld overlay solutions.
• Review manufacturing, inspection and testing procedures, identifying risks.
• Input on installation procedures, layability studies and related engineering docs.
• Review welding procedures and documentation for pipeline fabrication and subsea tie-ins.
• Support shore approaches, abandonment & recovery operations and subsea connections.
• Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments and issue resolution.
