Job summary

Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) seeks a Pipeline HT and Pre-commissioning Engineer to join the TLINSTMET2 team in Italy. You will contribute to design, testing and pre-commissioning for subsea facilities and pipeline preparation, emphasizing hydraulic analyses, documentation, and supplier coordination.

The role requires a Master’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, 0–10 years of experience, English proficiency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 0–10 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good command of English.
• Experience with Python/OLGA/FLUENT/HYSYS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic analyses using specialized calculation software.
• Prepare and review technical documentation.
• Review literature, internal documents, and external sources.
• Manage internal and external interfaces (presentations, meetings).
• Support Lead Engineer in managing third-party supplier contracts.
• Supervise tests at construction sites and supplier facilities.
• Oversee activities on installation vessels.
