Job summary

METLEN is seeking a Senior O&M Technician for its Renewables team in Italy. The role involves carrying out scheduled preventive and unscheduled maintenance on solar plants, coordinating external resources, monitoring performance and availability, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

You will maintain logs, manage spare parts, oversee CMMS updates, and travel to project sites as needed. A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Italian HSE knowledge, and fluent English and Italian

Qualifications

• 3+ years of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on solar projects >1 MW.
• 1+ year of experience in other electrical jobs.
• Experience with string inverters, trackers, MV/HV equipment, IT systems (comm, cameras/optical fiber).
• University degree in Electrical Engineering and knowledge of Italian HSE legislation.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

What you bring to the role:

Minimum 3 years proven track record in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting at solar projects greater than 1 MW

Minimum 1-year proven track record in other electrical jobs

Experience in String Inverters, Trackers, MV/HV equipments, IT (comm, cameras/optical fiber), CMMs, Driver Licenses.

University Degree in Electrical

Knowledge of Italian HSE Legislation

Fluent English and fluent Italian

Compensation & Contractual Framework

The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is 35.100€, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
