Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone is seeking a Product Assurance Inspector to perform internal oversight inspections of manufacturing activities. You will report to the Product Assurance Manager and work at the Monfalcone site, contributing to quality and safety in nuclear systems.

The role requires a high school or college degree, 3+ years in quality control, and availability for two shifts. Italian and English proficiency (B1) is expected, with a competitive base salary in Italy.

Qualifications

• High school or College degree.
• 3+ years experience in quality control and implementation of corrective actions.
• Availability to work in two shifts: Mon-Fri – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B1 level).

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight on fabrication activities according to job documentation and relevant standards and codes.
• Support the Customer and the Agency Notified Body on quality issues.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards and code requirements.
• Identify conditions that could affect quality and nuclear safety and ensure procedures describe all standards.
• Follow internal oversight plans prepared by the Product Assurance Inspector Lead or delegate.
• Manage Quality Control Plan open and closure activities to ensure compliance.
