Zusammenfassung

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the daily fabrication department operations at the Monfalcone site. You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and oversee task assignment, safety, and production progress.

The role requires leadership experience in heavy manufacturing, strong safety focus, and bilingual Italian/English communication for weekly updates and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma required.
• At least five years' related experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and shop math.
• Proficiency with blue prints.
• Ability to work all three shifts: 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am.
• Fluent Italian and English (minimum B2).

Aufgaben

• Assign tasks to team members based on schedules and qualifications.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and materials; report and investigate safety issues.
• Communicate updates and safety messages during weekly meetings.
• Conduct quality and standard work peer checks to ensure compliance.
• Implement training plans and maintain documentation.
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to track progress and address deviations.
• Monitor staffing needs, apply corrective actions, and support process continuity.
• Maintain workplace organization, production records, teamwork, and training.
