Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy, is seeking a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier QA activities for ASME B&PV materials and NSSS components, with audits, oversight, and documentation responsibilities.

This hybrid role requires onsite presence three days per week, relocation assistance for eligible candidates, up to 50% travel, and a base salary range of €51,800 to €64,900 per year, reflecting experience and qualifications.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years supplier quality experience.
• NQA-1 Lead Auditor experience desirable.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, micrometers, IMTE) desirable.
• Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100/ASME NQA-1 QA systems.
• Valid passport and international travel ability.
• Up to 40–50% travel per month required.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement supplier surveillance plans to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Resolve supplier quality issues impacting product quality.
• Perform independent assessments to verify QA systems at supplier facilities.
• Monitor progress to meet quality goals within budget and schedule.
• Create certification documents identifying procurement requirements met by purchased material/equipment.
• Lead assessments of the global supply base for regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate supplier quality plans to verify compliance with Westinghouse standards.
• Apply QA methods to identify failure causes and trends.
• Write QA plan segments per NRC/Westinghouse standards for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
• Implement policies on scope and retention of QA documentation.
