iKO Media Group in Rome seeks a NOC Operator for a full-time, on-site role. You will monitor 24/7 broadcasting systems, provide first-response support to clients, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with engineers and vendors to keep services online.

The ideal candidate has fluent English, basic computer skills (MS Office), and a technical background in RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video or audio. A driving licence is a plus. This is a non-remote position.

Mansioni

• Monitor telecommunications/broadcasting systems and ensure they are active and problem-free.
• Provide customer support as the initial contact for clients.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
• Manage events and maintain a detailed record of problems and resolutions.
• Coordinate with in-house engineers and third parties during escalations.
• Coordinate technical maintenances related to distribution services.
• Monitor facility systems (air-conditioning, UPS, generators) and operate them when needed.
• Work on a 24/7 shift rotation basis.

We are looking for a NOC Operator for a full-time on-site position to join the team in Rome. A leader in the broadcast industry, iKO Media Group is a rising, young, high/performance media service company operating in a state/of/the art facilities with a skilled and dynamic international team. This is a great growth opportunity in an exciting and fast-moving industry.

The candidate should be fluentin English and have basic computer know-how; Additional languages and technical knowledge would be considered an advantage. The position includes monitoring, operating, and supporting all of the company’s 24/7 global and domestic content distribution services. Working hours – 24/7 shift basis. Please note that this is not a remote/hybrid/smart working position

Responsibilities:

• Monitor telecommunications/ broadcasting systems, supervise the technical components’ functions and make sure that they are active and problem-free.
• Customer support – act as the initial point of contact for all the company’s clients.
• Troubleshoot and fix technical issues.
• Accountable for managing events and ensuring that they are resolved, while maintaining a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve them.
• Manage escalation process until resolution, including coordination with in-house engineers and third parties.
• Manage and coordinate technical maintenances related to the company’s distribution services.
• Monitor and operate, if needed, facility air-conditioning, UPS, generators etc.
• Work on a shift rotation basis, on a 24/7 basis.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of English
• Basic computer skills (MS Office programs)
• Candidate has preferably a technical background from one of the following: RF, satellites, networks, electronics, video and/or sound
• Engineering studies will be considered an advantage
• Technical or customer support experience will be considered an advantage
• Having a car will be considered an advantage
