Expleo Group in Rome, Italy, is seeking a Network Engineer to manage enterprise network services in a hybrid setup. You’ll work on Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, Meraki environments, Firepower and F5 appliances, and VPN/ WAN operations to ensure secure, scalable connectivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of networking experience.
• Strong expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching.
• Hands-on Cisco Meraki, Firepower and F5 administration.
• TCP/IP, OSPF/BGP, LAN/WAN, and data center experience.
• Knowledge of security practices and ITIL-based operations.

Responsibilities

Network Engineer / Network Administrator – Rome, Italy (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about enterprise networking, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure? We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a long-term international project supporting a complex and mission-critical network environment based in Rome, Italy.

Location

• Rome, Italy
• Hybrid model: up to 3 days remote per week

Your Mission

You will be responsible for the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of enterprise network services, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across a complex multi-tenant environment. You will also collaborate closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver secure and scalable networking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Cisco network infrastructure (Nexus, Catalyst, routing & switching)
• Manage Cisco Meraki environments (switching, wireless, and security)
• Administer Cisco Firepower and F5 BIG-IP AFM firewalls
• Support and maintain F5 Load Balancers
• Configure and troubleshoot IPSEC VPN connections
• Monitor WAN performance and resolve network incidents
• Participate in cybersecurity initiatives and vulnerability remediation
• Implement secure network architectures and operational standards
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and automation tools
• Produce technical documentation and support continuous service improvements
