Naval Support Activity Naples in Italy seeks an IT Systems Administrator as part of the Fleet and Family Readiness program. The role collaborates with NCTS and N-6 to procure, implement, and support NAF IT, including POS, Patron Wi-Fi, and legacy networks.

The incumbent will perform system administration, hardware/software installs, and life cycle management while ensuring data integrity and security across Navy IT environments at multiple duty sites.

Competenze

• Knowledge of customer support principles and IT security concepts.
• Experience with network concepts and data analysis methods.
• Ability to document actions in standard procedures and help databases.
• Ability to train customers and technical staff in IT processes.

• Respond to, resolve, and document help desk calls.
• Isolate problems across hardware, software, peripherals, and networks.
• Coordinate with program managers to resolve issues and ensure project success.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems and operations; provide training to prevent recurrence.
