BB&E is seeking a full-time Structural Engineer to support NAVFAC EURAFCENT. The position will be based primarily on-site at Naval Support Activity Naples in Capodichino, Italy, with periodic travel to NSA Bahrain and other locations within the EURAFCENT area of responsibility.

The role requires five years of civil/structural engineering experience, an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, and PE registration is preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum of five years of professional civil and structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer registration in civil or structural engineering is preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide independent structural engineering support for Navy facilities planning, design, construction and maintenance.
• Calculate environmental and blast loads; design vertical and lateral force-resisting systems.
• Review design submittals and provide comments at milestones (35%, 65%, 100%).
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, planners, project managers and other stakeholders.
• Support project budgeting, planning, and management; lead teams as required.
