Pirelli is seeking a Product Development Technologist for its Moto division. The role supports the Moto - Tread Engineering R&D team, contributing to new tread design, optimization, and predictive analysis.

You will work on CAD modeling, data exchange, and design optimization to drive performance across tire ranges. The role emphasizes creativity, engineering rigor, and collaboration in a global environment, with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to advanced materials and

Competenze

Master degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or similar.
Good English communication skills.
Ability with technical drawings and CAD knowledge.
Creativity and design culture.
Strong problem solving skills and teamwork.

Mansioni

New tread design – develop and optimize new tread patterns, create 2D/3D models and validate with FEA tools.
Range extension – adapt tread designs for new tire sizes by scaling parameters and managing documentation.
Geometrical & CAD modeling – standardize and improve CAD modeling techniques and data exchange.
Predictive analysis – develop predictive models for tread performance (fatigue, noise, wet/dry).
Research & innovation – enhance tread design methods through automation and new modeling techniques.
