Pirelli & C. S.p.A. in Milano is looking for a motivated engineer to join the Modeling team. The role involves advancing virtual tyre design, particularly in structural Tyre Modeling using finite element methods. The candidate will work collaboratively with different departments and contribute to developing simulation and analysis tools.

A master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering is preferred. Candidates need basic knowledge of software for FEM models, with programming skills in MATLAB and Python being a plus. Fluency in both Italian and English is essential.

Competenze

• Basic knowledge of software for FEM model definition.
• Academic background in tire modeling, contact mechanics, tribology, viscoelastic materials is a plus.
• Interest in thermal analysis and optimization fundamentals.

Mansioni

• Develop modeling techniques to predict forces transmitted to vehicles.
• Contribute to simulation and analysis tool development.
• Harmonize simulation tools within Pirelli technical centers.
