Pirelli is seeking a Product Development Technologist for its Moto division. The role supports the Moto - Tread Engineering R&D team, contributing to new tread design, optimization, and predictive analysis.

You will work on CAD modeling, data exchange, and design optimization to drive performance across tire ranges. The role emphasizes creativity, engineering rigor, and collaboration in a global environment, with opportunities for professional growth and exposure to advanced materials and

Competenze

• Master degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or similar.
• Good English communication skills.

Mansioni

• New tread design – develop and optimize new tread patterns, create 2D/3D models and validate with FEA tools.
• Range extension – adapt tread designs for new tire sizes by scaling parameters and managing documentation.
• Geometrical & CAD modeling – standardize and improve CAD modeling techniques and data exchange.
• Predictive analysis – develop predictive models for tread performance (fatigue, noise, wet/dry).
• Research & innovation – enhance tread design methods through automation and new modeling techniques.

The candidate will join the Moto team at Pirelli headquarter. In particular, she/He will be a support for Moto - Tread Engineering R&D team. We are looking for a candidate with creativity and a desire to know.

YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES

• New Tread Design - Develop and optimize new tread patterns, creating 2D/3D models and validating solutions with FEA tools.
• Range Extension - Adapt tread designs for new tire sizes by scaling parameters and managing documentation.
• Geometrical & CAD Modeling - Standardize and improve CAD modeling techniques, ensuring seamless data exchange.
• Predictive Analysis - Develop and implement predictive models for tread performance (fatigue, noise, wet/dry behavior).
• Research & Innovation - Enhance tread design methodologies through automation, integration, and new modeling techniques.
