Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Milan, Italy, seeks an Accountant to ensure accurate accounting and compliant financial operations. You will implement procedures, coordinate audits, and generate essential reports to support business decisions.

With a bachelor’s in accounting or related field and at least 1 year of experience, you’ll manage month-end close, asset accounting, taxes, and inter-company transactions in a fast-paced environment. A daily meal allowance is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience and training.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Well-organized and detail oriented with an outstanding work ethic.
• Able to independently manage and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of Balance sheet accounts.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits and review financial reports as needed.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Oversee taxes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure proper accounting of fixed assets additions, disposals, and transfers.
• Generate reports for labor, expense research, monthly balance sheet, and monthly P&L.
• Review inter-company bookings and payments; ensure accurate accounting of all transactions.
• Ensure budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
• Research expenses for cost centers, departments, and projects.
