JD Logistics in Milan is seeking an agile transport professional to establish and run the 24/7 dispatch and routing operation, ensuring seamless middle-mile execution between ports, fulfillment centers, and last-mile stations. You will lead the dispatch desk, manage routing analysts, and optimize real-time scheduling, carrier departures, and arrivals while solving bottlenecks to keep transit moving.

Fluency in English and Italian is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Competenze

• Verified background in fast-paced transport control tower or dispatch launch.
• Hands-on experience with TMS, GPS tracking and dynamic routing software.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Mandarin is a plus.
• Willing to rotate shifts including night/early morning coverage.

Mansioni

• Lead the 24/7 dispatch and routing operation for the Milan network.
• Direct dispatch team and routing analysts; oversee real-time scheduling.
• Coordinate carrier departures and arrivals; resolve bottlenecks promptly.
• Monitor KPIs and optimize cost and capacity across the network.
