JD Logistics in Italy is establishing its 24/7 transportation dispatch and routing operation in the Milan region, building from the ground up the real-time dispatch desk to optimize every vehicle movement from day one.

The role requires English and Italian fluency, hands-on TMS and GPS tools, and flexibility for shift rotations, including night hours, to launch a high-velocity transport network across Lombardy, including Varese and Milan.

Competenze

Professional fluency in English and Italian to manage local carriers and coordinate with HQ.
Experience with transport dispatch or control tower launches is required.
Hands-on knowledge of TMS and live-tracking systems.

Set up real-time routing, tracking, and communication protocols for the dispatch team.
Maintain high on-time departure and arrival rates for linehaul operations.
Maximize vehicle utilization and route efficiency while controlling costs.
Establish escalation paths for transit disruptions and communicate with stakeholders.
