Job summary

AW LAB, part of the Bata group, is seeking a Merchandiser Intern to join the European Merchandising Team. You will support product category management and inventory planning to help achieve turnover and stock rotation targets.

You will gain hands-on experience in in-season stock management, allocations, replenishment, and call-off processes while collaborating with Buying and Marketing on campaigns. This internship offers on-site training with potential hybrid work after initial period.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university or hold a degree in Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills are required.
• Good planning and organizational abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in English is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing product categories and inventory planning.
• Support in in-season stock management, allocations, replenishment and call-off processes.
• Collaborate with Planning to set up markdown campaigns and promotions.
• Work with Area Manager to analyze store performance and plan visits to markets and stores.
• Assist with reverse logistics and returns management.
