MiCiM, a specialist construction and project management business, is expanding in Italy and seeks an experienced MEP Lead to join the Milan team. You will coordinate the design, installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems for data centre projects across Europe.

The role requires hands-on delivery on-site, strong leadership, and ability to manage multi-disciplinary interfaces, with a willingness to work on-site in the Nordics and engage with global clients.

Competenze

• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with hands-on MEP delivery experience.
• Proven track record as MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres or mission-critical projects.
• Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems for hyperscale data centres.
• Ability to manage complex interfaces between trades and drive performance in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication to lead meetings and engage stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Nordics; international project experience is an advantage.

As we continue to expand in the Italy, we’re looking for an experienced MEP Lead with a strong mechanical or electrical background to join our first-class team in Milan.

This is a unique chance to work on some of Europe’s most innovative data centre projects, supporting the delivery of complex mechanical and electrical systems that underpin mission-critical operations.

You’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating MEP design, installation, testing and commissioning, ensuring quality, safety and performance standards are achieved throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP activities on-site.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of MEP packages.
• Review technical designs, method statements and submittals to ensure compliance with client specifications and data centre standards.

About You

• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with hands-on experience in large-scale MEP delivery.
• Proven track record as an MEP Lead or Senior MEP Manager on data centres, high-tech, pharmaceutical or other mission-critical projects.
• Excellent understanding of cooling technologies and mechanical systems typical of hyperscale or colocation data centres.
• Able to manage complex interfaces between trades and drive performance in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communicator with the confidence to lead meetings, engage stakeholders and represent MiCiM professionally.
• Willingness to work on-site in the Nordics; previous international project experience is an advantage.
