PE Global Recruitment are partnering with a leading data centre construction company to recruit an MEP Project Lead for a permanent role in Milan. You will lead Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, drive procurement, scheduling, and ensure safety and quality on site across turnkey data centre projects in Europe.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering MEP projects in data centres.
• Strong procurement and scheduling capabilities.
• Proven leadership of multi-discipline teams.

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
• Propose design changes to improve cost and schedule efficiency.

PE Global Recruitment are currently working with Europe's leading data centre delivery partner to recruit an MEP Project Lead to join the team in Milan. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.

The Company:

This organisation is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in the sector. They are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects in 7 different European Countries, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
• Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion
• Display commercial astuteness
• Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials
• Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information
• Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner
• Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team
• Oversee highest quality of health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant area
• Strong knowledge of procurement
• Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing
• Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential
• Experience in the delivery in Data Centre MEP projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
