Job summary

GE HealthCare in Italy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, configure, maintain, and repair medical equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal performance. This role focuses on a single modality, with responsibilities spanning testing, staff training, preventive maintenance, and diligent documentation of service activity.

You will analyze service data using Excel/PowerPoint, communicate clearly with customers, and coordinate remotely when needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CT PET and Nuclear Medicine modalities.
• Knowledge of Lean & Continuous Improvement principles.
• English and Italian language skills.
• Experience with service data analysis and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure medical equipment, focusing on one modality.
• Test and calibrate to ensure optimal performance.
• Train healthcare staff on operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective operations of moderate complexity.
• Capture and maintain accurate work documentation, including debriefing, parts ordering, and KPI metrics.
• Apply and coach to ensure EHS and compliance standards are met.
• Leverage knowledge to assist with contract and on-demand revenue growth.
• Escalate complex problems to experienced peers.
• Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for concerns, including installations.
• Remote fixing and equipment diagnostics.
