Job summary

Delonghi is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to drive component and sub-assembly design through New Product Development, from specification to Start of Production. You will perform CAD design (3D/2D) and lead DFMEA documentation, balancing performance, obsolescence, and cost in a global, fast-paced environment.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, feasibility studies with Industrial Design and R&D, and preparation of technical documentation for reviews and next steps in NPD

Qualifications

• Experience in designing mechanical components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead DFMEA documentation and technical BOM preparation.
• Create and maintain component and sub-assembly specifications.
• Execute CAD design for parts and layouts (3D/2D).
• Prepare technical documentation for project status and next steps in reviews and NPD meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during NPD.
